Other photographer's work
Paul Adams

Paul Adams work on the Metropolitan Cathedral consists of mostly black and white. He focuses on the shape and geometry of the exteriors and is applying a portrait angle on his photograph.
What I like about the black and white filter is that it adds more drama and emotion to the photograph compared to the original and every detail and shadow can be seen better I can see that he uses more portrait photos than when he photographed the exteriors of the Metropolitan Cathedral. He increased the saturation so that the colours from the stained glass pops out more. Other than the increase of saturation and contrast, I can't spot any complex editing of the photo which suggests that the original photograph was excellent and needs only minor fixes and improvements.

I went to the Anglican Cathedral and the Metropolitan cathedral both in Liverpool. The difference between the two cathedrals are that the Metropolitan is more of a modern cathedral, fitting for a technological society yet it contains traditional Catholic teachings. the Anglican Cathedral is a traditional cathedral, it has no modern structure yet its timeless and sticks out to the public. The way I photograph the exteriors of the Metropolitan Cathedral is experiment with unusual angles which makes the photograph more exciting and not repetitive. I photograph the cathedral were leaves in the trees where in the photo first and the cathedral was in the background.
when i went inside both the cathedrals, the same problems that pop up is that the camera couldn't handle lowlight photos so I had to get another camera which was more advanced than mine to take photos of the interiors.
