Other photographer's work
The night time photos I didn't include in my work but during the trip it was cloudy and dull which isn't the ideal weather to be taking pictures of a waterfront but because of the dull weather I was able to take some photos of the waterfront being reflected from the water which is an amazing way to vary my photographs. Making the photos black and white would take advantage of the dull sky, giving it a purpose to why it's there and making it suitable and appropriate to be in the picture.
Mark Mcnulty
He lives in the North West of England and photographs mainly Liverpool and North Wales. His portfolio contains very different things from photos of schools and communities to famous landmarks. He has a wide variety of photographs that I can mention him on my research on every subject.
I can see that he incorporates a lot of silhouettes into his work, along with monochromatic backgrounds and also black and white filters. There are clouds in almost all of his pictures which suggests that the time the photo was taken was in the summer or spring. His daytime shots looks like he only enhanced the brightness and contrast since the original picture was already up to a good standard. He relies on different angles to capture the unique landmarks instead of rule of thirds and there are some photos that were taken in portrait, adding more variety to his work.
